As most people are now aware, more people in this country are overweight or obese, than are of normal weight. The return to normalcy is not extremely difficult, but it does need to be individualized based on a person's personal past medical history, their social setting, their family history, and their preferences. There is no 'one plan fits all' in order to achieve and effectively maintain weight loss and optimal health.

I also firmly believe that everyone living in the USA needs to have nutraceutical supplementation that is based on the ODI (optimal daily intake) which are the amounts of essential vitamins, minerals and trace minerals needed today to prevent the chronic disorders we are dealing with in 2010.

The RDI (recommended daily intake) is based on the needs that people had in the late 1940's and 1950's due to lack of inadequate amounts of nutrients to prevent diseases such as Rickets, Scurvy, Beri-Beri and other diseases that are extremely rare to see in the USA and other 'first world countries' in 2010.

This country in 2010 is actually suffering from the under nutrition or over consumption of foods that have poor nutritional value. We also grow our plant foods more quickly than we used to, with poor soil conditions, and we add several chemicals to enhance plant size and increase 'shelf life'. Likewise, many meat products are injected with hormones to increase muscle size, injected with antibiotics, and are dyed to improve appearance for retail purposes. These chemicals oxidize our bodies cells, and oxidized cells will eventually change into abnormal or diseased cells.

If you take a longer view of this situation, you will actually end up saving your money along with improving the quality of your life, because you may not need prescription medications, and you may not develop many of the chronic illnesses associated with weight issues or poor nutrition.

We believe in one-on-one (face-to-face) evaluations and follow ups at least once a month, but initially some people may need more frequent visits. We also firmly believe that once you have lost your weight, or regained your health, that you will still need periodic evaluations to keep you stable and prevent you from "yo-yo ing" back to your previous condition.

Office visits are by appointment, but we will try to work with you and around your schedule if possible.
